The White Rose Hockey Academy (WRA) is the brainchild of ex-Dukie Paul Harrington and aims to enhance the profile of hockey at the school, improve the students’ enjoyment of the sport, level of skill, success on the pitch and promote a lifelong love of the game within the hockey family.
The WRA club exists to enable hockey friendships, social activities and to find financial and physical resources from across the alumni to develop hockey at the school. In time a playing body will be developed that builds on the annual TDA matches, entering local festivals. The club will be perpetuated by WRA graduates joining it as part of the WRA programme.
