It took us almost four years, but we published on Amazon on 14th August 2023. It's the story of Francois Meyer and his Paris Café. Set in 1908, it is a book about friendship, family, coffee, caper and cake.
I was a Dukie from September 1979 to July 1986, which was probably the last time I wrote voluntarily anything of any significant length. After a few starts, including an ultimately abandoned story of my time at school, this emerged out of nowhere. Anita is my collaborator, editor and firm hand on the rudder. The main characters are roughly 50% us and 50% imagination, the story a mix of fantasy, science fiction and fun.
I hope you find the time to take a look. Neither of us are in this for the money, which is lucky, since Amazon have to pay for their trips to space somehow. All books available in Kindle, Paperback and Hardback.
