After a couple of years away through the pandemic crisis it was great to be back at the School this year. Whilst there I took the opportunity to meet Jennifer Dolan, this year's School Colour ensign and her parents. I particularly wanted to do this because the parade lasted a long time and the weather was quite blustery. Jennifer was very tired at the end of the parade but as I had presented the sword that the Ensign wears I had kept a sharp eye on her. She was excellent so I sought her out at the end of the parade to tell her what a great job she did. Her parents were rightly proud of her and my thanks to Mr Dolan for the picture.
