The sun shone on the Parade as many of you joined in to march to the War Memorial, which was celebrating its 100th year this year. The Parade was led by SUO Daisy who you may remember has gained an Army Scholarship to Sandhurst. This year both the SUO and CSP are female, so I would be interested to know if this has happened before, two female leaders in the top positions in the school at the same time - let me know who you are and when this took place - or is this a first?
Stephen King led the prayers and the minutes silence before the Parade continued towards the Chapel where the roof was raised once again!
The service was presented by Rev Stephen King accompanied by Rev Chris Winter (Haig 1986 - 93) and Graham Chipperfield (Kitchener, Wolfe & Wolseley 1964 - 70).
Following the service there was a small ceremony to unveil the Memorial Pathway which is featured in a separate article.
