A photo taken by a member of staff who was fortunate enough to climb the Clocktower reveals a plaque with names which are not familiar and two dates. Does anyone recognise the names?

There is an identical plaque to this one which has the name of a former Headmaster, do any of you know which Headmaster it is?

As your tales of climbing the tower are gradually coming in, perhaps one of you can remember which Headmaster's name is up there?

Answers in the comments below, before I reveal the name in a couple of weeks' time!

Meanwhile, would you consider being part of the story to save the Clocktower? 73 Dukies have already donated - can we make it 100 or more? 77 Dukies donated £10,000 to the War Memorial fund and 192 Dukies donated £19,000 to the Memorial at the National Arboretum - Dukies you have done it before - can you do it again to save the Clocktower?
