Peter 1948 - 2022

It is with great sadness that I report the passing of David Richmond's older brother Peter, also a Dukie, 1958-1965 Haig, Roberts and Clive.

David writes;

Peter died suddenly on March 3rd in Bishops Cleeve, near Cheltenham.

Peter joined the Merchant Navy after leaving the Dukies, later working for many years at GCHQ, Cheltenham.

Peter retired in 2005 and was a Tewkesbury Borough Councillor as well as a long-standing Bishop’s Cleeve Parish Councillor, a trustee at the Tithe Barn, Flood Warden, Member of Wingmoor liaison forum, Member & Chair of many committees over the years: https://www.bishopscleeveparishcouncil.gov.uk/post/peter-richmond. He also supported the local Liberal Democrats: https://www.facebook.com/BishopsCleeveLibDems/posts/321784736647479.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday 5th April, 2:30pm, at St Michael & All Angels Church, School Road, Bishops Cleeve, GL52 8BA.
