Charles “Chas” Furlong - Wolfe 1949 -1956

David Furlong wrote:

My father Charles (Chas) Furlong was an old boy of the Duke of York’s and sadly passed away earlier this month – he was 84, so would have completed his A levels aged 18 in the summer of 1955.

Chas had been seriously ill since 2020, and had lost his wife in 2021 through illness. Chas gained a Direct Commission into the RAF in 1956 on leaving DYRMS.

Charles donated to the Clocktower fund in March and his name will appear on the Honours Board in the Dining Hall.
