Dukie News |
After months of planning (it really was a military operation!) and weeks of compiling many guest lists for the Royal Office, it was a relief when Grand Day finally arrived.
The day was a great success, made all the more special this year as the first full Grand Day since 2019 and a senior Royal as Guest of Honour. I hope you all enjoyed it.
I was fortunate to meet some of you, but sorry I did not get a chance to say hello to everyone! I was lucky enough to meet Chelsea Pensioners Patrick and Andrew (photo) as well as Richard (a Dukie, sadly not in the photo.)
The photos of the day can be found in the gallery below, but if you have any of your own, please feel free to upload them to the website, or send them in.
Next year I will arrange for everyone to meet after parade, so that we don't keep missing each other!
Enjoy the summer!
Rachel
