Daisy Yorke (Al, C 2014-21) almost had to leave the school when her father left the Royal Air Force.  However, with help from generous alumni, Daisy was able to stay to complete her GCSEs and A' levels.  She was successful in gaining a place on Amazon's prestigious professional apprentiship after leaving The Duke of York's Royal Military School.

Daisy continues to exemplify the values learned at DYRMS showing great resilience, and determination. Now a Mechatronics Engineer Apprentice at Amazon, she recently took on a mud run in support of Cancer Research UK—a cause close to her heart—proudly representing the school with our logo on her top.

With her final interview approaching, Daisy is on the cusp of becoming a fully qualified engineer. We’re proud to see her carry the Dukie spirit into every challenge she takes on, both personally and professionally.

Daisy is already 'giving back' by spending her time on the Events and Engagement Team of The Dukies Association.

Wishing you every success in the next stage of your journey, Daisy!
